The SIMS Freeplay

I used to play The Sims Free play when it was out in iOS years ago and I even maxed out the level and I got bored on it and thus I removed it. After changing my phone to Samsung Note 4, I realized that I could get really bored so I restarted everything and start playing again.

Look, I even "gave birth" to my 3rd child

and I even had a meal with Dennis without stinking my kitchen =p

Vianne 2nd Birthday

Vianne's 2nd Birthday celebration is the most unforgettable birthday celebration that I prepared for my family. 

I ordered a sweet strawberry shortcake cartoon cake for Vianne for her 2nd Birthday celebration and arranged for self collection on 17th Oct, 1pm. I took a full day leave and went brought my helper to lunch and hair cut + wash for her, while I did the treatment. I went to Prima Deli @ North Point at 2pm

Was pissed off with Prima Deli because they didn't send my cake to the outlet and I really had no choice but to ask for refund and they gave me another cake on display FOC. 

Ugly Chocolate Cake

You can say that I am trying to be difficult but sorry, ugly brown chocolate cake is beyond my acceptance for my sweet girl's birthday celebration. 

You see, I even prepared sweet gifts for her classmates. Everything is so cute. How could I accept this ugly cake? I asked the staff to help to locate my cake and deliver to their childcare. I got on cab and reached the school at around 2.35pm and I tried to drag the timing to wait for my sweet pinkish cake. Around 3.05pm, my cake arrived! I was so happy that I ran to the gate and thanked the delivery staff. I gathered the children again and opened the cake box. 

Thank you. I nearly fainted.

I was so upset that I nearly cried. 

Yes, you can say that Vianne won't care if its ugly brown or sweet pink cake but there's photo right? I want the best for my girl so don't judge.

Thankfully they did enjoy the ugly brown cake at least. Zaylen is in another class but he joined Vianne's Celebration!

 Anyway, Prima Deli did a great job in service recovery. I SMSed the manager that I was very upset with their service and he promised to deliver another cake for us on Sunday along with 27 cup cakes. I accepted it and on Sunday, he delivered our cake.

My Favourite Bloggers

I have been reading blogs (and blogging on and off) back in my secondary school days. I have seen many bloggers come and go, some who buay paiseh thinks that he/she is a popular blogger. (Example like one of them in Xiaxue's TOP 7 Disgusting Bloggers) 

Some are very humble and share with us wonderful stories of them and I enjoy reading them very much. Example like Pearl Ang.

Why? She is true about herself, not materialist like some people who are only after branded stuffs. I love her for that kind of love she shows towards children like her niece #heyurou, baby fighter, baby dash. I love how she always make budget clothing look nice and I don't feel inferior wearing $10 clothes from Qoo10. Yes, my clothes are mostly from Qoo10 =p

I am happy that her dream comes true. SHE IS HAVING A BABY GIRL! I am pretty sure she will be as pretty as QiuQiu too.

2) Xiaxue

She's blogging more in Dayre now and I love the way she present herself. She don't care if you dislike her, she would ask you to fuck off. Just like what I will too. You dislike me or dislike my loves one then fuck off :)

Seriously, we all know that Jude's (better known as Fighter) dayre is updated by either his mom - Audrey or his dad - Timothy but who cares? I enjoy reading the entries from a toddler's point of view.

Samsung Note 4!

Back in secondary school days, I change my phone every 3 months because I got a doting dad and he didn't control me. When I started to work, I realized that money is really tough to earn =( But that doesn't stop me from changing phone every year. ( I guess every year is okay right?)

Ever since I have children, I change phone only when I can re-contract at 21 months and after using iPhone 5 for so long, (Previously I was using iPhone 3 & 4 too! ) I have decided to JUMP!

The reason why I decided to get Samsung Note 4 is already stated in previous post and thus I shall not repeat myself again. Right now, let's welcome FRIDAY~~!!!!!

Good Education For Children

Children these days start their education journey pretty young, I sent mine to school at the age of 18 months. I remember in the good old days when we only go to school in K1 under PAP some more.

Today, child care fee range from $600 - $1300 per month as this is before subsidy. Zaylen used to be in the childcare near my in law's block in Pasir Ris. 

So SMALL!! So CUTE!!

Look at him! At the age of 18 months, we have send him to child care as we find Zaylen tend to be anti social most of the time thus we wanted him to be more sociable and partly because my mother in law won't be able to take care of him together with my new born daughter together at that point of time as she needs to do laundry for the whole family too. 

This boy, bite everyone in his class INCLUDING Zaylen :( 

The child care fee is cheap, after we deducted all the subsidy, it's only $225 per month. However, cheap things don't come good. English teachers were all from Philippines and Chinese teachers were all from China. We can't blame the school for this because salary in child care industry is pretty low and you need to work day shift + Saturday half day and you have to face 20 children everyday! You really need to have some kind of passion.

Frankly, Zaylen learnt nothing. He can't pronounce 'One' properly till now, I guessed no one corrected him in school and the Chinese he spoke was too 'China'. Example, water bottle we call it 水壶 (shui hu) but the teacher taught him 水杯 (shui bei). Both actually meant the same thing but I highly doubt PSLE you won't get marks deducted if you decided to write 水杯. 

What boils our blood is when a student bite Zaylen  not once but FIVE times (or more I can't remember) in his cheeks!

There are times when teacher would write down in their communication book but sometimes the teachers decided to smoke thru and we only know when we fetch Zaylen. Can you imagine how heart pain we felt? The whole family felt heart pain including my in laws.

碰脸颊会红？I remembered that time there were only 5 students in class. Teacher wrote that Zaylen was playing toy when the biter decided to snatch and 'TOUCH' his cheeks. YOU TELL ME THOSE MARKS WERE TOUCHED NOT BITE? YOU THINK I AM YOUR STUDENT 2 YEARS OLD UH!!!!

So angry till now whenever I think of it. 

Now that we moved to Yishun, we were sourcing for Child Care and we found this - Star Learners

Expensive :( I paid $750 (after subsidy) + $120 for school bus per child! I got 2 children so that make it to $1740 per month!

Not forgetting their excursion educational trips.

Zaylen is about to max out his $6000 CDA bonus already. We are only left with $1000 for govt to match the $1 for $1. I think they should increase the amount to $10,000 or even $20,000. 

It's all worth it with their smile and I love to see their activities photos up in their school Facebook. Moreover, Zaylen speaks better now! He's able to express more about himself and most of the time he speaks in English. It's like when I asked him " Do you want to bathe or eat first" in Mandarin and he would answer me "Eat first" in English. 

and my girl found herself a boyfriend. HAHAHA

I will continue to let them continue their learning journey in this school as long as I can afford. I believe a good foundation will allow them to learn better when they enter Primary school. :)

iPhone 6 plus or Samsung Note 4?

Recently this question has been spinning in my mind. I have been using iOS all the while and frankly, I love the camera function but it is not user friendly if I would like to load new songs into my phone. 

Yes I know there's iTunes but the problem is if I have a plug and play option, where I can access from different computer, why not?

The biggest problem is my daily hooked drama series. TVB HK dramas are available on sites when only Android phone could download and play it in your android device immediately using MX player.

Samsung Note 4

Not to mention of the connection cables. iPhone cables are too expensive for replacement and most of my friends have jumped to android phones and thus they don't have the lighting cables at home. Bringing my xiaomi portable charger is a hassle as iPhone replica charging cables sometimes don't work on the portable charger and it's too expensive to get a authentic iPhone lighting cable. 

One more point is when someone told me that the processors Apple use are what Samsung used for their Nexus phone a year ago meaning Apple is outdated in their processors. I don't know how true it is as I am quite noob in this area and I still see people running after iPhones.

Based on the problems I mentioned, I think most slightly I will go and purchase a Samsung phone :) Now

How I Met FATman

I am not sure if I blogged about this before in my previous blogs but since I am free, I will blog about this again :)

I met Dennis around in early 2008 if I am not wrong, when I just finished filming for Channel U's show for problematic teens " 青涩部落格 My World My Blog"

He came all the way from Pasir Ris to Sembawang with Morris & Allen to pick me up and went for supper at Chong Pang Nasi Lemak. I knew him from a forum for music (it is illegal so I wont mention names) and he is one of the friends I knew from the forum. His first impression to me is he is a dark fat pig. HAHAHAHA!!

We didn't contact each other after that (expected). He told me years later that in 2008 he was actually interested in me but he was afraid to make the move and he got into a complicated relationship with one of his poly friends - M.

M and him broke off years later and I broke off with dont-know-who also, after that I was with another ex bf - G and he was with Q. Q and him broke off in June 2009 and he was still in army, feeling bored, he SMS me again and asked me for supper. G was a bf full of jealousy and forbid me to do this & that , Psst I really hate that and I started to talk to Dennis about how bad G was. Dennis will drove me home whenever I am working afternoon shift in Tai Seng after having supper at Old Changi Airport Road. I am actually quite touched as his camp is in Choa Chu Kang, my office in Tai Seng, my house in Sembawang & he stays in Pasir Ris. 

We went to watch movie at Iluma, I remembered it was 吓到笑 and he held my hand when we crossed the road in Sept 2009 (I had broken off with G by then).

Being calculative, I wanna him to say the words "can you be my gf" thus I kept asking him if he is gonna ask me but he kept saying no and made me so disappointed but we were still together and I went to his house and play with his dog and he still drives me to & fro work on weekends when he is supposed to rest :) In Feb 2009, I was having menses and resting at home, locking my door to pluck armpit hair and I heard knocks on my room door. I thought is my brother as he was at home so I quickly unlock the door and pluck my eyebrows instead. When I look at the mirror inflection, I saw Dennis. I was shocked and he bought me a ring and asked me to be his girlfriend.
